Alberto Baillères Foundation
November 2023
In the Social Model of the Alberto Baillères Foundation, it is essential to set in motion a process of reflection, analysis, and critical interpretation of work done with education communities. For this reason, the Foundation held a meeting in Mérida, Yucatan, with its entire team of socio-community aides, as well as with the Operations Managers of each area where the Foundation maintains a presence.
Over the course of three days, participants took part in workshops focusing on self-care, accompaniment styles, leadership, and best practices in community work. Likewise, the conference promoted spaces for exchanging significant experiences that stand out for their social innovation component.
As part of the activities, participants visited the site where the Foundation is building a new school complex in Kanasín, Yucatan, which will comprise a secondary and technical upper secondary school. Additionally, spaces for recreation and team building were organized through cultural experiences and a visit to the Uxmal archaeological site. In this way, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to assimilating learning experiences and recognizing the work of its collaborators.
