The Transformative Projects Fair saw 100 students from Preparatoria Oficial 94 [Upper Secondary School] in Ecatepec present projects they developed during the 2024-2025 school year, including initiatives regarding recycling, facilities maintenance, reproductive and mental health care, green area rehabilitation, and taking ownership of public spaces to promote sports.
This event marked the close of the second edition of the “Transforming as a Community” program that the Alberto Baillères Foundation operates in partnership with Gol por México, GNP Seguros, and the Televisa Foundation to help outstanding students become agents of change in their communities.
As part of this program, 100 mentors from GNP Seguros, SECOBAL, and VALMEX accompanied students over the course of 10 months, helping them strengthen the leadership and teamwork skills needed to carry out transformational projects. Mentors and senior Grupo BAL staff visited Preparatoria 94 to take stock of students’ results.
The Alberto Baillères Foundation extends its thanks to program mentors for their commitment and dedication and affirms its own commitment to the continuing implementation of the “Transforming as a Community” leadership program.
