Social Commitment Agreement signed with Primaria Demetrio Rivero Triay in Kanasín, Yucatan

A voluntary commitment to transform environments will benefit more than 400 students,

Education and municipal authorities were present, as well as representatives of the Alberto Baillères Foundation.

In an act of reaffirming collaboration and co-responsibility between students, educators, senior, administrative and support staff, families, education authorities and the Alberto Baillères Foundation, the Social Commitment Agreement was signed at the Primaria “Demetrio Rivero Triay” [Primary School] in Kanasín, Yucatan. This voluntary commitment will promote school infrastructure improvements and strengthen community ties, fostering the creation of spaces of well-being.

Since 2023, community members at the Primaria “Demetrio Rivero Triay” have stood out for their strides in organizing and participating in capability-developing processes in the framework of the Social Model. In this vein, joint community work was carried out under the guidance of experts some months ago to begin rehabilitating infrastructure using materials donated by the Foundation.

Representatives of the Secretariat of Education of the Government of the State of Yucatan (SEGEY), the municipality of Kanasín, the Alberto Baillères Foundation, and the education community were present at the signing ceremony for the Social Commitment Agreement. This joining of efforts promotes environments conductive to learning and human development, benefiting more than 400 students.
