Third Meeting of Partner Organizations: Promoting capability development

  • More than 150 people attended this event, a space for assimilating learning experiences and celebrating shared achievements.
  • Two panels and three workshops were held to reinforce the application of the Social Model’s five capabilities.

On March 26, the Alberto Baillères Foundation held its Third Meeting of Partner Organizations, attended by representatives of 33 civil society organizations who contribute to the implementation of the Social Model. Also in attendance were Grupo BAL members and senior staff from the education communities that work alongside the Foundation.

Alejandro Díaz de León, a member of the Foundation’s Board, welcomed the more than 150 participants, emphasizing the role of partner organizations as a source of specialization and knowledge for developing comprehensive solutions in the collaborative creation of educational habitats.

The goal of this Third Meeting was to strengthen knowledge regarding the five capabilities promoted by the Social Model and to foster their application in the daily work of accompanying education communities. Two lectures were given to this end: “Innovating using technology,” delivered by Ana Lidia Franzoni, Academic Director of Innovation and Technology at ITAM’s Epic Lab, and “The power of your emotions,” delivered by CONCIEO’s Tania Jiménez.

Likewise, three workshops were held: “Your voice matters,” “Challenges of the future,” and “Collaborative work.” Attendees in these spaces had the chance to dialogue and imagine innovative solutions to the current challenges of education. Finally, Foundation Board Member Octavio Figueroa delivered the event’s closing remarks, in which he underlined the importance of joining forces and learning together to benefit Mexico’s children and young people.
